$18.00 - $23.00 per Hour
- Accurately record and post payments, adjustments, and denials received from payers and patients.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility before services are provided, and update patient insurance information as needed.
- Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies or government agencies.
- Generate and send patient statements for outstanding balances, process refunds for overpayments.
- Reconcile payments with billed charges to identify discrepancies.
- Monitor the status of submitted claims and pursue resolution of unpaid or denied claims.
- Identify and address claim rejections or errors promptly.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports and maintain organized reports.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a full Revenue Cycle processes (combination of Scheduling, Authorizations, Medical Billing and Claims processes etc.)
- Experience in MS Office, and knowledge of EMR/HER systems
- Can maintain high detail in a fast-paced environment, while being successful in a repetitive environment
- Highly professional, and ability to communicate in a professional manner and eager to take on new responsibilities
- Ability to focus on and complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
